Dr. Stephen Thomas F. Lacson is a board certified dermatologist and a Fellow of
the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS). He was board certified by the
Philippine Board of Dermatology where he finished in the Top 4. He finished his
medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery
in 2000 and completed his residency training in dermatology at the Makati
Medical Center (MMC).He is a Member of the American Academy of Dermatology
(AAD), International Society of Dermatology (ISD), International Society for
Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) and Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery
Foundation, Inc. (PADSFI).
With an interest in Dermatologic Surgery and Lasers, Dr. Lacson underwent further training in Dermatologic Surgery under the Preceptorship Training Program of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) with Dr. Naomi Lawrence at the Center for Dermatologic Surgery in Marlton, New Jersey, USA (2005).He later did his Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at the Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, which was headed by Dr. NiwatPolnikorn (2005). He is also an advanced Botox and Filler injector certified by the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) and Merz Institute of Advanced Aesthetics (MIAA).
Dr. Lacson presently serves as the Medical Director of HOO Center for Dermatology in the Philippines and is active in teaching young dermatologists by giving various lectures and workshops.. He is also a Consultant and Active Staff of the Department of Dermatology at the Makati Medical Center (MMC) where he heads the Section of Dermatologic Surgery. He is also the Head of the Dermatologic Surgery Subspecialty Core Group of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS).
To further enhance his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Lacson regularly attends workshops, trainings and conventions both local and abroad to continually update himself in the field of clinical and cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic surgery and lasers.
